Abstract

Most often, the term transgender is used to reference individuals who “cross” sexes and transition from male to female or female to male. What about clients who do not fit neatly into the “male” or “female” box? Even though almost a third of transgender folx identify as nonbinary or genderqueer, they are often left out of the conversation. This experiential session will provide attendees with a firm foundation and strategies for creating trans-inclusive clinical environments.
