Nightmare at 20,000 ft: Currere, teacher education, and the invitation to imagine otherwise

This manuscript explores the author's use of currere in relationship to The Twilight Zone episode (1963), Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, which also serves as a key childhood narrative. This imagery is placed alongside the author's work in teacher education and currere's invitation to imagine otherwise with self and students. It is based on the plenary session of the same title from the 2022 currere conference.
