Abstract

Learning Objectives 1. Describe the important role family physicians can play in treating patients with opioid use disorder 2. Understand the steps to offering office-based opioid use disorder treatment in a family medicine practice 3. Describe ways to partner with hospitals, addiction treatment providers, behavioral health providers to ensure successful multidisciplinary delivery of care for patients struggling with chronic pain and/or opioid dependence.
