Abstract
The requirement of social-emotional learning or character education into the school curriculum is important to the work of Restorative Practice (RP) in P-12 schools. While schools are seeing the importance of social-emotional learning as a tool to aid in student relationships, RP addresses behavior, discipline, and relationships. The current presentation will lead individuals to become self-aware using the “H.A.G” (honesty, acceptance, and grace) and discuss restorative practice in P-12 education along with discussion on how collaboration and intervention strategies can aid in assisting students assigned to in-school suspension.
